Dee Dee Bridgewater among many entertainment figures are scheduled to perform at a benefit for Flint, Mich. residents as they face the crisis of contamination in their water supply. Joining will be: Ty Herndon, John Clayton, John Beasley, Tamir Handelman, Marvin Smitty Smith.

Angelo’s Coney Island hot dogs, a staple in Flint, will be served along with Vernor’s ginger ale.
“We have left Flint, but Flint never left us,” Grossman said. “We have families and friends there who have been ravaged and we can’t stand idly by.”
Proceeds will go to Flintkids.org, a charity helping the health needs of children affected by the water crisis.
The host committee includes natives of Flint and other cities in Michigan, including Grossman, Bragman, Tulani Bridgewater, Stevie Wonder, Dave Koz, Cary Hardwick, Sandra Bernhard, Sam Gottlieb, Carter Oosterhouse and Amy Smart, Adam Kaller, Rhonda Price, Bob Eubanks, Steven Rachwal, Jill Rosenbaum, Wendey Stanzler, Laurie White, Ben Cain, Gordon Young, Krystyn Price, Sam Gores and Ben Hamper.
