Jazzkombinat represents the vibrant generation of young jazz musicians in Hamburg. The 21-strong ensemble has set itself the task of networking these musicians in a national collective. It regularly invites guests from all over Europe to Hamburg, who develop and perform their music together with the band. In addition, the jazz combine sees itself as a platform for young arrangers and composers and attaches great importance to artistically high-quality and creative programs that are tailored to the project. The 21 musicians stand for the highest solo level, expressive ensemble playing and have established the jazz combine as an integral part of the German jazz scene.
